benpac global services handles all central services for the Group in the areas of HR, legal, accounting/controlling, M&A, marketing, communications and purchasing. Group management is also based in this unit, which sets and controls all strategic goals. The central services are also provided for third-party companies.

We are looking for the location Peterborough/UK as of now or according to agreement:

Finance Controller

We are looking for a talented and motivated Finance controller who will support the Group management as part of a central service by checking and plausibility-checking the local financial data of the Individual Group companies. The candidate will be expected to perform the role of an internal auditor. This position will be responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements and ensuring that financial records are accurate throughout the year. The candidate assists the CFO and prepares consolidated figures for financial reports. Likewise, group controlling is implemented in this important position.

Main responsibilities

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities).
• Develop and implement Accounting processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements).
• Forecast costs and revenues.
• Manage tax payments.
• Organize internal audits.
• Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department).
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
• Analyze financial trends.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
• Excellent math skills with an attention to detail.
• Time-management abilities.
• Confidentiality.
• Previous demonstratable experience is a must.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• Additional certification (e.g. CPA) is a bonus.
