benpac global services handles all central services for the Group in the areas of HR, legal, accounting/controlling, M&A, marketing, communications and purchasing. Group management is also based in this unit, which sets and controls all strategic goals. The central services are also provided for third-party companies.

Group Legal Counsel

At Benpac Global Services we are looking for a talented and motivated Corporate Lawyer, the Corporate Lawyer will serve as the central service advising the entire Group on its rights, responsibilities, and duties under the law. This will include all legal issues affecting BGS, including complex state and federal regulations and regular meetings, such as the annual shareholders meeting. The role also includes duties such as drafting contracts, merger and acquisition support, corporate governance, securities, and venture capital. The candidate will work with local law firms in each country and will establishe a team to provide group-wide advice.

Requirements
  • Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents).
  • Develop company policy and position on legal issues.
  • Develop and implement processes.
  • Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks.
  • Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents.
  • Represent company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc).
  • Draft and administer all contracts.
  • Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.
Requirements
  • Proven comparable law firm experience.
  • Proven background on corporate law (contract law, tax law, accounting, securities law, bankruptcy, intellectual property rights, licensing, zoning laws).
  • Excellent negotiation and communications skills.
  • Administrative and managerial skills.
  • Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.
  • Previous demonstratable experience is a must.
Qualifications
  • BS/MSC degree in Law.
  • LPA , Legal Practice Course.
  • Current license to practice law.
